The Occidental Alicante Hotel has a great location, close to the beach, marina, and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but some had small windows and poor WiFi signal. The breakfast bu (Read More)ffet is enjoyable, though it lacked some healthy options. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some guests found the price of breakfast and parking to be a bit high. Overall, it is a decent hotel with a good location.

Good hotel and staff, but the night life outside is very loud.

The staff was very friendly and helped me with everything I needed. Breakfast was very good too. Big, clean bathroom. Bed was completely OK. The Internet was completely OK, enough to have video calls and watch films. The location has its pros and cons simultaneously - it is in the center, but on the street with lots of nightclubs, so you can hear all that noise until 3am.

Location / noise cancellation - you can hear everything going on the street. I stayed from Thu to Sun. Maybe it is not so noisy on business days. Window - really small, so you lack daylight. Room size - small, you can do everything you need, but there is no extra space at all, only the necessary minimum. You will not complain about any of that if you come there to party or just need a place to take a shower and have a nap.

Location was fantastic. waking distance to everything.

Room had a musty smell when we first arrived, but it did clear after we ran the air conditioner

Location - well placed for beach, airport bus stop and old town Staff were very accomodating Bedding of a very good quality

The breakfast 'hot' food invariably cold. It's a common problem in buffet breakfasts but the hot plate needs to be hotter and having warm plates would help No beach towels although the blurb says they're available. No tea making facilities, the loan of a kettle would have sufficed No accurate info re the airport bus, only that it left the start point at 5am. We calculated after 2 stops it should have been at Alfonxo X at 5.10 but it was in fact scheduled at 5.30 when we got to the bus stop and we ended up having to get a taxi.

Front room over road with some traffic noice and air con unit nearby switching on and off.Two single beds together making very large double was not very comfortable for couples
