Cheap and conveniently located hotel with onsite parking

Great location and convenient parking at the hotel. Good hearty breakfast. Nice staff. Powerful shower. Clean and tidy. Cheap for the area and adequate for a one night stay.

I said 'cheap for the area' and you definitely get what you pay for. Mattress was old, very uncomfortable and springs collapsed. Not a suitable mattress for paying customers to sleep on. Should be thrown out and replaced. Walls very thin and not soundproof at all. We could hear the TV and conversions of the couple next door and in the hallway.

Beyond my expectations, the perfect location and extremely friendly helpful staff

The breakfast every day was fast and hot with a good selection. And as I was there over Christmas there was a cracker with it too :) the staff (and one receptionist in particular, I think her name is Etre) went out of their way to make my solo Christmas stay really special. The location was about as good as it gets, a stone's throw from the lovely Lyndhurst high street but also right next to some gorgeous new forest walks. Everything was spotless.

The mattress was a bit springy but it didn't really affect my sleep. There was a buzzing noise in the bathroom, not sure what from. Only minor things tho!

Good value for money for a one-night stopover.

The hotel has a very good location, and is easy to find. It also has very convenient parking. Inside it is pleasant and welcoming.

The rooms we booked (one twin, one double) were nice, but rather cramped. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast offering: no fresh fruit, limited toast (one slice each) and no croissant or pastry option. Coffee was plentiful, however.

They are so dog oriented thats what matters to us and to get a plate of sausages for the dogs for breakfast made the whole couple of days even more special

Access is difficult with the very steep stairs but apart from that it was great

Fairly comfortable accommodation for a few days stay but windows really let the property down.

The location to the high street and the space in the apartment.

Some areas were not too clean: oven, dishwasher, crockery, skirtings, behind the bed. The bath/shower needs a major refurb. The road noise was a constant, didnt realise how busy this road was even over the Christmas period. The windows let most of the noise in as they are not working properly, none of the seals actually work from an acoustic perspective.

Xmas in Lyndhurst

Good breakfast, plenty of hot water, staff left us alone, but were there if we wanted them.

Steep stairs & steps into rooms. Heavy fire doors. Difficult to go through with luggage. No lift.

Lovely hotel, great location, breakfast brilliant

Love the location, staff so friendly. Bedroom was lovely as well. Breakfast was outstanding

Just two nags, one the bed in the Raleigh room had the lumpiest bed I have ever slept on. Also no fault of the hotel, but opposite was a house with Xmas lights flashing on and off all night.

Not sure we will use Booking. Com again. She wouldnt refund 50%. Not interest. I took photos.

Nothing. It was dirty. Stunk of damp. We left after 12 hours. Owner not interested

Everything. Filthy cleaning materials, broken equipment. Stunk of damp. Couldnt wait to leave.
