Most enjoyable 5 night stay.

Very clean and modern hotel. Easy to get into Portsmouth City Centre and also Southsea. Chichester Cathedral on 14 miles away too.

Convenient and clean property

Clean, warm welcome. Friendly staff

Immediate smell of cigarette smoke when arrived on 4th floor corridor. This was also coming through our air conditioning in the room. We had to have our window open during a very stormy night. Reported to reception the following morning and this was addressed. I think parking should be free, especially for blue badge holders. Returning guests, as we are should be given little incentives, rewards like a free drink. Just something small to show appreciation for loyalty.

A great nights sleep with no noise nor disturbance, and a magnificent view of Portsmouth .

The Marriott chain is one of our favourites but we only had the pleasure of staying in the Portsmouth Marriot for one night and we did not have time to sample the food or other facilities. However the ambience was apparent from the moment we stepped into the lobby. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean. There were teas and coffees and above all the beds were soooo comfortable. Thank you Portsmouth Marriot, we shall be back.
