The Residence Inn by Marriott in Slough offers a great experience with good amenities both in and out of the rooms. Convenient location near a mall, restaurants, and the train station. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly staff and commendable service, recommended for a visit.

One major fault spoilt it for us..

Great location, easy to find, great (currently free) parking, spacious room, good amenities, great breakfast with an excellent selection, good restaurant with lovely views. Exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming staff where nothing is too much trouble.

The bed - very very soft dipped mattress, so soft it affected my back. 7th floor room - water pressure was alittle temperamental

Super lovely and clean and amazing and friendly and, and, and!! :)

Staff were super-friendly and accommodating. Room and hotel was exceptionally clean. I've stayed in a LOT of places and have nothing but superlatives to share to exclaim about this place. Keep up the good work!

The only reason I didn't give top marks was because it wasn't clear to me what the actual name of the hotel was (Residence Inn, Moxy, Marriot?!). I wasn't sure which door to enter and didn't realise the hotel I was staying in (Residence Inn or Marriot?!) was separate to the main entrance and you need to access the lifts and go to the 9th floor for Reception. I was meeting a Deaf Colleague and it was very confusing so I had to text him ahead of time and warn him of this because he may have struggled otherwise.

A few niggles, but overall great

Modern, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, great room layout enabling us to watch a film in the lounge while our toddler slept in the bedroom.

The air con in the room was rattling, not ideal when your trying to sleep, and there were no high chairs at breakfast or in the room. Considering the hotel accommodates families, it would be great to see high chairs available.

Breakfast was overall good, good selection

The overall experience was good, but parking from hotel was not convenient especially with kids. How ever our room was very noisy, with a broken motor sound from the fan and it kept me and my family up all night, I had complained to the reception staff, they told me its the bath fan, cause by the wind coming in and they can change that so its not the fault of the hotel. I just didnt agree or accept this as an excuse and reason why the room had this noise the whole day, the weather was not windy in the evening. The rooms also dont supply water bottles or slippers or robs. With the price you pay I expected it to be in the 4 star standard.
