    Great location, friendly staff, and stunning views
    I liked views, the balcony attached to our unit, and the access to the beach, the flora, and the restaurant onsite.
    1. The refrigerator in the room did not have a freezer. I needed access ti a freezer, so it was a bit shocking when I didnt see one. Fortunately, the staff was able to take my item to a freezer onsite to help. 2. The electricity went out multiple times during our stay. We had to use a portable lantern that we brought with us to find our way around during those times when the electricity went out. 3. The WiFi was unreliable and didnt work for the first 2 days when we were there. The staff gave misleading information about the password to use, and none of it worked. It was only on the last night did they agree to change the password, despite my asking them to do that on day 1.

    Basically a tropical paradise
    Everyone is so friendly here. The rooms, food, drinks, views, entertainment--everything was wonderful. Big shout-out to chefs Joseph and George for the delicious bhajias and for helping me with my Swahili!
    The road up to the resort was under construction in November, 2023 which made for a bumpy ride to and from Mombasa, but that's not the resort's fault. Just hold on tight and don't fly out the window.
