It was marvellous. We could not have been happier.

Shangri La Boracay was absolutely spectacular. The staff were so attentive, helpful and welcoming. Everything from the location, the food, the room and service of all staff was amazing. We will definitely be going there again in the future.

IT WAS A GREAT PEACEFUL WONDERFUL STAY.

IT STARTED WITH YACHT WHO PICKED ME UP. THE SERVICES WERE GREAT. THE ROOMS WERE GREAT. THE BEACH WAS VERY NICE AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME SINGING WITH THE BAND. THE ROOMS WERE VERY ELEGANT AND SERENE. THE RESTAURANT WAS VERY NICE. THE STAFF WERE WONDERFUL.

Just perfect.

Amazing setting, staff, food, atmosphere. Just so good.

Only debatable point for us would be not walkable to white beach but then again, that also contributes to the feeling of space, peaceful location and quiet. Suggest more frequent bus transfer could be considered although local tuk tuk added much and that worked for us.

Outstanding experience with a few deals that can be improved

- The staff was amazing, we never felt so welcome. They were useful in every situation. So many unexpected nice details from housekeeping (Merlyn) and from the waiters. - The 2 private beaches are extraordinary.

- The beds are not top. It's an important factor and in a hotel like this, you expect top beds. - The terms & conditions can be ambiguous: Breakfast for kids is not included even if you include breakfast when you book.

These comments are because this is a 5 star chain resort: No mosquito net in the rooms. - seriously why not? Breakfast buffet is very rich but still they charge you extra for sparkling water. This was funny- if import is expensive just buy the machine to make it. We were curious of the massages because they eon a spa award- it was the worst massage ever. (10 times more expensive than other spas) When we told them they did not care. We were curious of their award winning fish restaurant- worst tuna we had in the Philippines. When we told them they did not care. By not care i mean did not even say sorry on both occasions. They take you to the airport wayyy to early for your flight even if all the passengers want to depart on a later time. They have a fixed schedule. Everything dies after 10pm. I hope the manager reads these comments for future guests.

Beautiful anniversary weekend

The hotel is like a dream in the best location of Boracay. The beach is a dream. Breakfast is the best I have ever seen in my life.

Everything in the hotel is too pricy for the people who already stay in the hotel and pay a lot for the stay, they should reduce the prices. Also, the staff needs to improve the customer service, we had some issues while booking our tables in the restaurants which made us a bit upset which is something that could not happen in that hotel, everything has to be perfect
