Poor

Very expensive for an uncomfortable stay

Location was great for the kennel club building and I could take my dog which was great

I could barely sleep as the bed was so uncomfortable. It was noisy and the gardens are not secure. Very expensive for a terrible stay. Would not return

Superb

standard accommodation,

Decent stay for work purposes. Ate on site as its a long way from eating anywhere else. Food was fine. Pleseant staff. Lots of parking.

Well located fairly priced accommodation.

Generally service and accommodation was very good and excellently located for access to Land Rover Show which itself was a little disappointing.

Suited my needs.

It was very close to the event I was attending.

The room was very basic, more like glorified student accommodation. The hairdryer was broken. It was clean but very basic.

It's ok, but feels a bit like the Crossroads Motel

We were staying for a show on site, so this was excellent location. The staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, shower powerful. Price is reasonable.

It's a really drab and dull place to stay. It really wouldn't take much to zing it up a bit and give guests a bit more of an experience. The infrastructure is there, the staff are great. It needs better management & someone with a little creativity and a budget for a bit of a touch up & it would be great - less Crossroads Motel & more Holiday Inn

Pretty awful

Nothing really - desperately in need of a refurb

Needs a refurb Dirty - carpets, walls, radiators has lots of stains Room was really cold. Had to roll towels up to block draft under doors. Asked for a plug in heater as I was sat in a coat in my room. Told that they dont have any heaters but they could give me an extra duvet. Bathroom was really outdated, took ages to get any hot water & shower head was not adjustable so pointed at a funny angle - difficult to wash your hair Young blonde girl on reception was lovely. Other older/foreign lady needs a lesson in social skills & how to smile. She was arguing with kitchen staff for all to hear & stomping around when she wasnt sat glued to her phone. A lady got a glass of wine but the glass had lip marks on it which she mentioned. Instead of pouring another wine in a clean glass so just tipped into yet another dirty glass ! In fact she went through all the glasses & they were dirty.

noise from the bar/dining room, and outside once they went home. was a bit spooky outside -staying on my own, arrived after dark. Not well signposted to find hotel, even after I asked the gateman
