    Excellent hosts, very welcoming.. Wonderful breakfast choice and very tasty.
    Shower was not powerful but we were on the top floor so that can usually be the case.

    The friendliness, cleanliness, feeling at home, nothing was too much trouble attitude.Breakfast filling, tasty, well cooked.
    Nothing. A hook on back of door would be nice for long coat.

    we will be back
    Julie and john could not have been more friendlier great hosts and the breakfasts were brilliant nothing was to much trouble the room we had was comfortable clean and the utilities there were good too. loved the hot chocolate and biscuits on tray lol the only thing it was a bit noisy on morning due to main road but that cannot be helped if we want to stay in Scarborough again the Almar will be the first on the list

    Lovely short break.
    John and Julie made all the guests feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was really good and beautifully presented. The rooms are gradually being updated to modern standards but the older room we were in was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We would book here again.
    Our shower was a bit of a dribbler.
