Staff and location
I feel that 30 for a bottle of Pinot is ridiculous. Also the Thai green curry was more soup than curry. House keeping failed to supply shower gel. Have the spa away from the hotel is not fun getting back and forth in the wind and rain.

Poor
Very disappointing expensive stay
The spa was great
The food and service was terrible. Room service took over and hour. Charged us for breakfast when you said it was included in fee! Pillows were shocking and worn need upgrading ! Towels and face cloths so worn you could see through them. Carpets had holes in. Walls and room tired and worn. Fire alarms were set off and called false alarm late at night. Passage and neighbors very noisy could hear every door slamming shut. Outside flood lights left on all night shining in room. Loads of stairs to carry bags up wasnt pleasant. Very disappointing expensive stay.

A relaxing hotel with a spa and great facilities in a good location
Its on a great location near St Austell for touring Cornwall as I did on daily excursions. The hotel also has lodges that cater for larger groups but I was in the main hotel. The room was very comfortable and spacious with everything you need including a fridge, good selection of teas, biscuits etc and bath robes. The view was pleasant and it would be great to enjoy the large balcony during warmer months. Breakfast was excellent.
Bit of a lack of parking near the main hotel buildings so it was recommended to use car park 1 or 2 but its so dark and with ferrying luggage this could be improved

Wonderful property, excellent value for money.
Stayed in the lodge, which was beautifully appointed, down to the finest details; facilities were excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the location - close to beaches and attractions like Eden Project. Cannot fault anything about the property.
