    The room look was nice smaller then we thought, the night time man member of staff was lovelyThe hotel walking in looks lovely,
    When checked in and going into our room the lady at counter said we needed to pay for room, which we already phoned 2 days before and paid over the phone, had to show the lady my bank statement to prove this thought was embarrassing infront of other guests, the room heating would not work had someone come up and couldint put it on room was cold he did give us a heater, the bathroom flooring needs redoing, also we paid extra for balloons for 10 pound they was disappointing as only balloons on the bed, the rooms was very loud can hear other people and outside walking past the rooms and talking, wouldint stay again unfortunately.

    Very comfortable and stylish. Lovely dining room and bar.Food was exceptional.Dinner was restaurant quality and the breakfast was outstanding, quality ingredients and superior selection.David, on desk was super helpful and friendly. All staff went over and aboard.
    We had a classic double, very comfortable.Storage was a little limited though.

    We have stayed at the Orchid many times and it never disappoints everything is just perfect. Friendly welcome at check in and breakfast tasteful decor throughout, lovely comfy bed, beautiful breakfast, plenty of parking and location is just perfect.

    Great hotel in fab location
    Tea & coffee facilities in room were good, Breakfast was good except for the coffee machine took forever to get a cup filled up!! Location of our room was in a quiet part of hotel which was ideal for us with Christmas parties in full swing.
    Some blinds in room were broken and chipped.

    One of the friendliest hotels weve stayed in, nothing was too much trouble.
    Finer touches on the maintenance but did not detract from our stay.

    Great room, location and staff, would book again!
    For the price we paid, it was exceptional value for money, having a coffee machine and all the extras made it a comfortable stay, breakfast was varied and plentiful.
    Someone on hand to cook eggs to order but otherwise faultless
