    I had a wonderful stay at Umaid Bhawan
    The hotel inside was gorgeous down to the last detail. The staff was very attentive and nice. The food at the restaurant was delicious!

    Pleasant staff, nice atmosphere, good communal areas as long as you are an early riser e.g. before 7am
    Very pleasant staff nice atmosphere. Table outside room for use very good
    Cleaning began very early in the morning. Very noisy with every chair and marble table moved . Many hours of brushing. Whilst this means the place is clean there is absolutely No chance at all of relaxing in the morning and getting up a bit later.

    The front desk guy is interested in treating only foreigners and not Indians..we checked out and waited for the cab to arrive, and the kids were thirsty my wife asked for some water bottles for the cab trip. the receptionist said "Madam apka checkout ho gaya hai so I cannot give water to you". This is something I could not understand and on the other had a resort where we stayed ran to a cab and gave us water bottles seeing there were kids with us.

    This is the best hotel for a short break in Jaipur, we stayed a week and this was about the right duration. No disappoin
    This is an amazing traditional Indian hotel, clean, well maintained and supported by exceptional staff. The location is central but in a quiet side street that allows you to enjoy the local culture. The rooms were styled in a traditional Rajasthan theme, great atmosphere and everything was clean, comfortable and functional. There were fresh bedding and towels every day and the breakfast was fantastic, a mix of local and international food. We were so impressed by the quality of the food we ate in the hotel restaurant every evening, the staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The high point was the range of food available, we sampled the majority of tandoori dishes and were not disappointed. I cannot recommend this hotel enough,it is not a slick western chain hotel. If you wanted an authentic Indian experience, this is the place to stay.

    I booked an royal sweet room which was really awesome and I wasnt expecting this royal room was mine , i mean excellent
    Heritage design and hospitality
    Quit embarrassed with parking but guard was supportive and helped us to parked it safely
