Reception Nightmare at Vivanta Kolkata

My recent stay at Vivanta Kolkata was a total letdown, thanks to the reception staff's rudeness. Their attitude was a buzzkill from the get-go, overshadowing any potential positives. The lack of professionalism at the front desk seriously soured my experience. Here's hoping they take this critique to heart and step up their game. #DisappointedGuest

Good sized rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds Housekeeping staff was very good

Noisy room if you go for the deluxe 'quiet' room, my room was changed at 12 in the night. Room service -pathetic really in my case. Asked for a glass of 'lukewarm' milk for my toddler, 20-30 minutes later 'boiling hot' milk arrives which I send back. Lukewarm milk never arrives, toddler goes to sleep without milk. No bathrobes in the 'upgraded' room unless asked for, no hooks or any place in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes. At breakfast on our last day they took almost half an hour and multiple reminders to bring a highchair (this is when we had been coming for breakfast for the last 2 days and using a highchair).

It was very good for the first three nights and OK OK for the remaining days of our total stay.

Breakfast was really good. The complimentary dinner was also good for first three or four nights but after that we booked the same room directly and on the last day that is on 30th October the breakfast was really bad. They served stale fruits and dosa and sambar wad also bad. My mother could not eat anything and felt very bad.

In the five star hotels like vivanta do you expect the food in buffet which was not consumed always refrigereted and served next another day? Is it right for the borders' health?
