(Written on 26 Jan, 2025)

What's Good: it was Memorable tour of Meghalaya with Imity Travells. We were four gujarati couple and we almost searched everyting for this tour in internet and after communication with lots (Read More)of tour compnies luckily found imity travells. they offored us good package compared to others with excellect accomodation and transport. Special thanks to Pragyan, Manav Roy and Vivek Bhai for amazing Experiance through out the tour. Day 1 : We arrived on Guwahati Airport and cab driver was there for pick up then we straigt travelled to Wari chora almost 270km from guwahati it was hell of scary road in last 100km. we arrived in Wari chora at late night 11pm then took rest for next Day. Day 2 : in the early moring we were ready to explore wari chora in famous garo Hills. it was almost 14 km from our Homestays and we travelled through Bolero Pick up and it was Hell of ride because road is very bumpy but after viewing the nature Beaty of Garo hills we were speechless. then we almost trek for the 3km for Wari chora. after we reach there we lost in the nature what a place it is. i Have never seen place like this beatiful Narrow river Between Canyon. then we have done rafting in this beautiful river canyon for 3 hrs . it was lifetime memory for each of us. then we off to Guwathi at 5pm. Day 3 : Guwahati to Shillong in the Early moarning we left for Shillong. we Have visited Famous Umiam Lake in the journey. we reched Shillong at 5 pm and after Check in the Hotel we went to Mall road Shillong for Shopping. it was Christmas Month so we Enjoyed very much. Day 4 : Shillong To Cherapunji (Sohra) (Laitlum Canyon & Garden Of Caves) in the Early moarning, we first went to Laitlum Canyon One of the most beautiful and eye soothing tourist destination on the top the East Khasi Hill. The view is like a panoramic view of nature leaning on the sky. You will feel it like heaven. You will get an amazing 360 degree view of the canyon. we spend almost 4 hours at Laitlum Canyon and it was memorable experiance for us. then we went to Garden of Caves a Serene, peaceful ,less crowded and beautiful falls around. Weather was fab to roam around as well. Huge ferms, streams, picturesque. Nicely developed and maintained gem. then we reached to Sohara at 6pm. Day 5 : Prut Falls and Lyngksiar Falls we visted Two Beatiful Waterfalls in day 5 actually our plan was tho visit Wai Sawdong Water fall but it was closed due to some reason. but the Lyngksiar Falls crystal clear water and the beutiful river. it was almost 1.5km trek but was worth a watching. Day 6 : Sohra to Dawki vis Single living root Bridge in the Early Moaring after 3 hours of Travelling we reached to Single living root Bridge a technical architecture marvel and to know that its done by the local tribal people with skills handed over generations and hundreds of years is simply awe inspiring...and still growing strong as new roots shoot up!!!..loved the trek to the bridge too..then we rooted to Dawki, Too many people, too costly and touristy. This was the only place in Meghalaya where I felt the locals were out there to make quick money. boat ride was too Expensive and boat rider was too rash while boating. Day 7 : Dawki to Shillong vis Krang suri Waterfalls in ther moraing we visted India-Bangla Border it was very good Experiance. then we rooted for Krang Suri Waterfall. Around 20 minutes, trek from the parking area to reach the waterfall. Very beautiful place. Life jackets are also available near the waterfall. Very clean washroom and changing room facilities are also available. It was a perfect getaway in the lapse of nature. Crystal clear waters of the falls is breathtaking. we took Life Jackets and Take dip in the Water it was Very cold. this is the Best waterfall i have seen in my life. we dont have much time to visit Phe Phe falls so we irected to shillong. Day 8 : Depatrure

The sight of a rhino grazing peacefully amidst the tall elephant grass was breathtaking combined with exhilarating excitement of spotting the tiger Meghalaya, a stunning state in the northeastern region of India renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, lush greenery and vibrant culture. **Shillong:** Often called the "Scotland of the East" it offers picturesque views, rolling hills and vibrant colonial architecture.
