Day 1 Arrival in Dehradun – Transfer to Harsil (216 km / 8-9 hrs approx.)
Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station, meet your driver and begin your scenic journey to Harsil via Uttarkashi. Known for its picturesque apple orchards, Harsil holds historical significance, with local legends tracing its apple production to a British settler, Frederick E. Wilson. Check into your hotel, refresh, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay at Harsil.
After breakfast, head out to explore Nelong and Gartang Valleys. Nelong Valley is located near the Indo-Tibetan border at 11,000 feet, offering breathtaking views of the Tibetan Plateau. This thrilling trekking region is a must-visit for adventure seekers. Gartang Valley is home to a historic 150-year-old wooden stairway built by Peshawari Pathans, cut into a vertical granite rock face.
