His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Main Temple

The Dalai Lama temple is also known as Tsuglakhang Temple, visited by many followers and tourists. His Holiness the Dalai Lama visits this temple twice to thrice a year. The premises is very calm and peaceful you can even meditate here if you want.

Library of Tibetan Works and Archives

This library houses around 80,00 manuscripts, over 60 thangas, 10,00 photographs, along with many important documents of the 1959 escape. It was opened in the year of 1970 by the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso.

The Tibet Museum
