The Yag Camii is a mosque known for its distinctive architectural style. Combining the elements of Ottoman and Seljuk Turkish architecture, it was built in the 14th century and ever since has been an important place of worship in the city. The structure was originally built as a church but later converted into a mosque with a Madrasah. It is open to visitors.
The Madrasah is situated in the mosque's courtyard and has exemplary samples of wooden artwork. Located near the Grand Mosque, in the old part of the city, it is a popular place for tourists to learn about the history and culture of Adana and the surrounding region.
