St. Raphael, Adelaide Overview

St. Raphael's Catholic Church is a cathedral located in Adelaide, South Australia. The Roman Revival inspired design of the church introduced a new type of ecclesiastical architecture to Parkside with its limestone building. St. Raphael's Catholic Church was built with the help and support of Passionist Fathers, chief among them Archbishop O’Reiley who wanted to bring the Passionist order to South Australia.

The church was preceded by a mission school in 1889 and worked as a Church on Sundays.  If you want to do more than visit you can contact them directly for masses and events. They have a range of programs that cater to catholic families and services to assist those who want to live, learn and practice being a catholic. You can check their page for events and adorations. There is a beautiful organ on display since 1917 and the serene nature of the church is a beautiful experience.
