El Mamurah Beach, Alexandria Overview
Al Maamoura Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Alexandria, located on the site of the Qaitbey citadel and east of the royal gardens of Montaza. Go swimming or stroll down the boardwalk's cobblestones, where there are a few ice cream stores and food stands. The beach also has a beautiful corniche area that is great for cycling, hiking, snacks, and drinks.
Al Mamoura Amusement Park, located just a few feet from the beach, is one of Alexandria's top amusement parks. The Alexandria Aquarium Museum, which is also close to the seaside, is one of many sites located around the Citadel area.
