Monastery of Saint Mina

St. Mina Monastery, is a famous religious site located in Alexandria, Egypt. It sits amidst the serene landscape of the Mariut Desert, approximately 50 kilometers west of the city center of Alexandria. This monastery holds significant religious importance, especially for Coptic Christians, as it is dedicated to Saint Mina, an esteemed Christian figure.

The most convenient method is by private car or taxi, which allows for flexibility in exploring the surrounding area. Alternatively, organized tours may be available from Alexandria, providing guided transportation to and from the monastery. Buses and Microbuses also run, but they are less popular as  they are over crowded and has information only in Arabic.
