The Antalya province in Turkey is known for a rural limestone area or limestone farmland that is home to several karst springs along with waterfalls and sinkholes. These springs have led to lime deposits forming over the course of millions of years and they have resulted in the formation of travertine patios. Pınarbaşı and Kırkgöz, which lie northwest of Antalya, have a few karst springs and sinkholes but the most impressive waterfall is in Dudenbas which cascades down a narrow gorge.
This waterfall is divided into the upper fall which is Dudenbasi Selalesi and the lower fall which is Duden Cay. The springs and the surrounding greenery are a treat for nature lovers as the limestone farmland is a great place to relax, and take pictures. The best way to explore the area is to walk or hike.
