The beautiful Bali Bird and Reptile Park is spread over 2 hectares and houses the most extensive collection of birds and reptiles. The exhibits are all divided based on their region of origin. Lory Feeding occurs throughout the day, while Pelican Feeding and Papua Rain Forest Feeding occur twice a day.
Home to about 1000 birds, and 250 different species of reptiles, the Bali Bird and Reptile Park is the place for those wanting to get closer to nature- literally, tourists can take pictures with large brightly colored toucans and also be entertained with brightly colored displays. There is also a dining and shopping facility available for tourists. One of Bali Bird and Reptile Park’s mission is to breed endangered species of birds in captivity, in order to preserve the species. The Bali Bird Park also implements a practical biosecurity system that looks after the safety of the bird collection, staff as well as visitors.
There are plenty of activities to witness or to take part in, in the Bali Bird and Reptile Park. Lory Feeding takes place throughout the day while the Pelican Feeding and the Papua Rain Forest Feeding take place twice a day. The Bali Rainforest Free Flight Bird Show and the Basic Instinct Bird of Prey Show are organised in the first half of the day. The Guyu Guyu Corner Hands-on Birds takes place throughout the day.
The Park has recently introduced a 4D bird cinema that offers an immersive experience of a bird and its habitat. The Bali Bird and Reptile Park also has an open-air restaurant beside a beautiful tropical garden. A gift shop is also present on the premises, that sells digital photo prints on T-shirts and other unique souvenirs.
