September to November is the best time to visit Bendigo, as the weather is pleasant and the natural beauty of the area comes alive during the Spring season. The Bendigo Annual Tulis Display, which sees about 45,000 tulips in full-bloom at Rosalind Park occurs between mid-September and mid-October. The Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival is a four-day music festival that occurs during November. The beautiful White Night occurs around the end of August, a sight not to be missed. During the Easter period, the Chinese community of Bendigo celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival and visitors will be treated to the sight of Sun Loong, the world’s longest imperial dragon.
