The first structure to be completed in Back Bay, Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Boston is a historic church built in Neo-Gothic style in 1860. The centrepiece window of the sanctuary depicting Piety, an allegorical figure, is a key feature, along with stained-glass windows. The church is open for all as a shelter and a centre for use by various organisations.
