Located in Allston across Charles River, the Harvard Stadium is a U-shaped football stadium situated on the grounds of Harvard University. It is the United States’ oldest permanent structure for intercollege athletics.
Harvard Stadium has a huge legacy behind it and has seen innumerable major events like hosting men’s ice hockey team until WWI and many Olympic games as well. With a current capacity of over 30,000, it set a benchmark for construction in its time and hence is recognized as a National Historic Site.
