Massachusetts Institute of Technology is one of the world’s most prestigious universities and is known for its contribution in the field of science and technology. Following the same path is the MIT Museum, located on the grounds of the university. It is a relatively new museum and was founded in 1971.
MIT Museum holds MIT’s historical records, technical archives, photographs, robotics, and AI exhibits. It proudly holds the world’s largest holographic collection with over 1800 pieces. The recent researches are showcased on the ground floor in the Mark Epstein Innovation Gallery, while the second floor ‘The Kurtz Gallery’ holds photography collection. The museum also features kinetic art and has a Hall of Hacks as well. This modern-day museum is a must-visit to witness the man-made magic in astonishingly small time intervals.
