Built-in the 18th century, the church has been a popular tourist destination for its intricate designs and stunning frescoes. It's a perfect place to unwind and appreciate the city's cultural heritage.
Other Important Objective Information : In addition to the regular visiting hours, visitors can attend mass every Sunday at 11 am, and concerts are also held on a regular basis. The church's website provides up-to-date information on upcoming events.
The church has a single central nave with columns and enclosed side chapels. The walls here are encased in artificial marble with an exterior which has a rising, narrow façade along with two copper soaked towers and a breathtaking interior which is revealed after passing through the beautifully carved wooden door. Inside the church, the ceiling features gorgeous paintings, frescos which were made by Johann Bergl portraying the life of Mary and has an impressive baroque pulpit as the highlights. Above the main altar of the church a copy of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa, dating back to the 1720s has been put up along with the sculptures of Saint Paul and Saint Anthony on the altar.
