The tallest mountain on Australia’s mainland, Mount Kosciuszko, is situated in the NSW (New South Wales) of Australia with a height of 2,228 meters. It is considered one of the Seven most challenging mountain summits on every continent. It is a 13 kilometres (18 Kilometer loop) hike that takes about 5 hours from Thredbo to Charlotte trail. There is an exciting chairlift in Thredbo, and Cootapatamba Lookout is popular for the lake view. The alpine wildflowers enhance the beauty of the course. You can also ski on the snow-laden trail in winter. While climbing the mountain, take the pathed walkway and opt for the gravel track of 10 to 15 stairs towards the peak.
