Bellagio

Bellagio, Como Overview

Bellagio, often referred to as the "Pearl of Lake Como," is a picturesque town situated at the intersection of Lake Como's three branches in Italy. The town is renowned for its colorful historic center, beautiful gardens, and charming neighborhoods. 1 hour drive away from Como, Bellagio can be reached by bus and ferries that depart from Como’s ferry terminal, too.

Visitors can explore the well-preserved historic center, characterized by narrow cobblestone streets, pastel-colored buildings, and a variety of shops and cafés. The town is home to several notable attractions, including the Basilica of San Giacomo, a church built between the 11th and 12th centuries. Additionally, Bellagio's central location makes it an ideal base for visiting nearby towns such as Varenna, Tremezzina, and Menaggio, which are easily accessible by boat.
