Orrido di Bellano, located in the town of Bellano on the eastern shore of Lake Como, is a natural gorge formed over 15 million years ago by the rushing waters of the Pioverna River. Visitors can walk along suspended walkways that wind through the gorge, offering close-up views of dramatic waterfalls, narrow rock formations, and lush vegetation. The site also features a historic tower known as Cà del Diavol, adding a touch of mystery to the experience.
Bellano is easily accessible by train from Como, with a short walk from the station to the gorge. It can also be reached by driving for 45-minute from Como, with parking available nearby. Open year-round, typically from mid-morning to late afternoon, with extended hours in summer.
