Sadashivgad Fort, Devbagh Overview
Created by Raja Sonde in the year 1968, Sadashivgad Fort has witnessed the rise and fall of many empires from Kadanbas and Marathas to Portuguese and British.
Situated in the village by the same name, the fort lays atop hillock of altitude 200ft. Lush green and thick cover of forests bounds the fort on all sides. One can also visit Shantadurga Temple in the proximity to the fort. Famous for its magnificent architecture and beauty, it is said to be established during the year 1665.
