The Chakratirth beach is a vast shoreline bracketing the land of Diu, situated adjacent to the town. This beach holds mythical significance in the Hindu mythology for being the beheading site of the demon Jalandhar by Lord Krishna.
Besides the serene atmosphere of the beach, this waterbody attracts all the more tourists for its open-air auditorium alongside changing rooms. It sites the INS Khukri war memorial nearby as well. However, there aren't any food stalls on this beach which is otherwise a great birdwatching spot.
