St. Catherine's Church is a striking neo-Gothic structure built in 1867. Known for its twin 73-meter-high towers named David and Mary, the church features stunning stained-glass windows and an impressive pipe organ. It is a prominent cultural and architectural landmark, frequently hosting concerts and events. The church is situated on Catharinaplein, a short walk from the city center.
Built around the middle of the 19th century, the church cuts a striking figure in Eindhoven's cityscape. It's twin towers are unmissable, decorated differently and intricately. While one tower is elegant and refined, one the other you'll see turrets and battlements. The church is of a pronounced Gothic style, like a lot of the other designs of Cuypers. It's elaborate stained glass windows and sculptures visibly add to the aura. A definite visit for those into architecture, a look into one of the best works of Pierre Cuypers.
