This museum is dedicated to the works of Voltaire. The museum was inaugurated back in 1952 and is located within Les D_lices, Voltaire's home.
The property that now houses the Mus_e Voltaire was bought by Geneva in 1929. Now, this museum contains a library with 25,000 written volumes on Voltaire. Apart from that, it also proudly displays an array of paintings and prints from the 18th century. Several of these paintings depict Voltaire himself, his family and his friends.
