Glasgow Green is a park in the eastern end of Glasgow, located on the north bank of River Clyde. The major highlights of the park include the People's Palace where one can learn the story of Glasgow and its people within the social history museum. It is the oldest park in the city.
It was established in the 15th century and spreads on an area of about 55 hectares. Next to that is the Winter gardens which has a large collection of plants and shrubs. Outside the winter gardens, there is a Doulton fountain that was moved to Glasgow Green in 1890. There is also a monument here of Viscount Horatio Nelson.
