The Scotland Street School Museum is a museum of school education in Tradeston. It is one of the foremost architectural attractions in Glasgow, located in a former school. The museum has a large range of science activities and exhibits which attract a large number of tourists.
Scotland Street School was a functioning school until the year 1979, and now it has been transformed into a museum. The museum presents the history of education in Scotland. It was designed by Charles Mackintosh. The visitors are given a chance to take part in a Victorial classroom situation where actress Lesley Robertson plays the roll of the teacher "Miss Baxter". One can also try their design skills on the touch screen computers inside the museum.
