Tamar Park, Hong Kong Overview
Located at Harcourt Road, Tamar Park is a public park covered with a green carpet in Hong Kong. Positioned by the side of Legislative Council Complex and the recently constructed Central Government Offices, the park provides its visitors with solace in its green and serene environment complemented with splendid views of Victoria Harbour.
Spread over an area of 1.76 hectares, the Tamar Park is a division of the Tamar Development Project and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong government is responsible for its management. The park also connects with the Star Ferry Pier and the Central Piers through its link up with the Central and Western District Promenade. Opened in October 2011 for public use, many concerts, group yoga classes, art events and music festivals can also be witnessed here occasionally.

- Tamar Park is well equipped with green carpet, landscaped garden and an amphitheatre consisting of a performance area with a capacity of approximately 240 people which can be hired by organizations for cultural performances.
