Situated in Pasadena, between Johnson Space Center and the Bayport Industrial District, Armand Bayou Nature Centre is the largest urban wilderness preserve in the United States. It is also the largest migratory bird route in North America as it lies along the Central Flyway. This preserve is a good idea if you want to see wildlife, natural trails and undertake educational activities in a beautiful natural environment of forests, wetlands and prairie.
f you have ample time, do go in for hikes and boat cruises. Alternatively, you can take up their special guided tours on Saturdays to explore the place better.
