Hua Hin’s Rajabhakti Park is a tribute to the royal dynasties of Thailand. It honors Thai kings from the Sukhothai period to the current Chakri Dynasty. The park is dominated by bronze statues of seven notable kings. The base of the statues houses a museum that focuses on Thai royal history and the lives of the seven kings.
The seven kings honored at Rajabhakti Park are King Ram Khamhaeng of the Sukhothai Period, King Naresuan and King Narai of the Ayutthaya Period, King Taksin and King Rama I of the Thonburi Period, King Mongkut and King Chulalongkorn of the Rattanakosin Period. Their statues are dressed in garbs and carry weapons contemporary to their reign. The statues, set against the blue sky and forested hills in the distance, create a majestic scene for photographs. The plaza in front is used by the Royal Thai Armed Forces for parades, functions, and ceremonies.
