The best time to visit Ibiza is from May to October when the weather is warm, skies are clear, and the island comes alive with beach days, nightlife, and festivals. During these months, average temperatures range between 22°C and 30°C, with July and August being the hottest and driest. Outside these months, spring (March–April) offers pleasant weather and blossoming landscapes, while the off-season (November to February) brings cooler temperatures, quiet charm, and the lowest prices—perfect for hiking, local life, and scenic winter sunsets.
June to August (Peak Season - Summer): Ibiza is at its most energetic in the summer months. With average highs peaking around 30°C in July and August, this is when the beaches are buzzing, clubs are in full swing, and events like Ibiza Rocks and Sziget Festival draw massive crowds. However, it also means high prices, long queues, and very busy towns—especially in San Antonio and Playa d’en Bossa. Expect little to no rainfall and up to 31 sunny days in July.
May, September & October (Alternative Peak Months - Spring/Autumn): May sees pleasant highs of around 22°C, and the island begins to awaken with music summits and beach club openings. In September, temperatures remain above 25°C, and events like Ibiza Gay Pride and the Jazz Festival keep the vibe going. Even October remains warm (around 23°C) with the sea still swimmable. All these months offer fewer crowds, but they are still expensive.
April & Late October (Shoulder Season - Spring/Autumn): April is a transitional month—some beach clubs and restaurants begin to open, and temperatures hover around 19°C. Late October sees cooler nights (around 16°C) and a wind-down of clubbing season with iconic closing parties with fewer events.
November to March (Off-Season - Winter): Ibiza’s low season is calm, cool, and budget-friendly. Average highs range from 16°C in January to 17°C in March, with the coldest lows around 7°C. Most clubs and seasonal restaurants close during this period, with limited ferries and boat tours operating. Occasional rains and windsurf-worthy breezes define the winter climate, especially on the western coast.
