Kandyan Art Association, Kandy Overview

Housed in the historic KAA building in Sangaraja Mawatha, Kandyan Art Association is a perfect place to shop for authentic art and craft of Kandy. A one-hour cultural show is held at 05:30 PM daily, where Kandy’s culture and heritage are celebrated through dance and music.

The store also gives valuable insight into the methods of creating the traditional art forms of Kandy. Kandyan Art Association was formed in 1882 with the goal of preserving and uplifting the traditional arts and crafts of Kandy’s districts.
