How To Reach White Monastery

Tourists can either hire cabs or rent bikes to reach the hilltop; however, some also prefer hiking up the mountain to make their journey even more interesting. This part of the climb is about 1500 metres above sea level. There's a small fee of Nepalese Rupees 40 that needs to be paid at the gate which is guarded by five idols of Gautama Buddha.
