Taman Esplanade, Kuantan Overview
Taman Esplanade is a 1 kilometer long paved walkway and public space along Kuantan River at Jalan Besar near Kuantan Municipal Headquarters building in Kuantan. People come here for a walk along the river while enjoying the gentle breeze of the sea.
Lined with palm-trees, Taman Esplanade stretches from Shahbandar Jetty to Mega View Hotel. The walkway is well-lit with lamp-posts and many people come here for jogging and exercising. A great spot for fishing, Taman Esplanade also has a children's playground with swings, slides, see-saws and other playing facilities for kids to enjoy their time here while you take a rest at the benches.
In the middle of the Esplanade you'll find a food court with various eateries selling local delicacies. As such, it makes for a good place for a picnic.
