Sourav's Trip to Diu, Somnath, Dwarka, Kutch (Kachchh), Sasan Gir Wildlife Sanctuary

5 /5

(Written on 19 Nov, 2024)

I had booked complete Gujarat tour package for my family in Nov 24. We had a great experience with "Meet N Greet" Team. They take their business quite seriously and personally....which was evident fro (Read More)m their communication and services. Their team was prompt and quick in addressing our queries and resolving our problems (if any). The pricings they offer are quite better than other big players in the market with the same set of services. The best part of this team was that they were able to understand my requirements and customize my itinerary accordingly. The associations they have with transport services need to be more filtered. We faced small issues because of the driver, which couldn't get addressed because of miscommunication between us and the team. However, i firmly believe that it would have been resolved if communicated properly and timely. Additionally, accommodation in Diu was below average, but at other places it was good (as promised in the itinerary) I would suggest the team to be very selective while associating with ur transport partners especially when ur tourists are senior citizens.

Rann Utsav

Celebrating the varied ethnic flavour of Gujarat through crafts, music, dance and people, the Rann Utsav is packed with leisure, delicious food and adventure spread over 5 Lakh sq metres with more than 350 luxurious tents. It is 100+ full-filled days of Kutch. The festival celebrates the spellbound beauty and natural heritage of Kutch. You can engage in an array of indoor games like carrom board, ludo amongst others, savour the lip-smacking delicacies and enjoy the relishing traditional recipes of Kuch. Besides, you can also take a ride over the picturesque desert of Kutch with its seemingly boundless white sand.

Being held in the Dhordo village of Kutch, the Utsav is lined-up with ethnic tents that have just the right amenities for you to live in the midst of the desert region. An overnight stay is highly recommended as the visuals of the Rann of Kutch especially during full moon nights cannot be found in any other part of the world. The day times have a variety of colour sprinkled on the barren lands and offer visitors an excellent opportunity to experience the diverse traditions, the generosity and hospitality of Kutchi people.
