I only went to Mashobra for a day, but it was extremely fulfilling. The car ride from Shimla to Mashobra was stunning. The nature, the beauty, the weather and the pure air really washed all the city (Read More)blues away. Once we reached, we opted to stay in tents. It was a very slopey ride from the main road to the resort. The food they served was basic North Indian food. The next morning, we rose early and went for a hike. It was one of the best walks I ever took. It didn?t require too much physical strength and offered extraordinary peace of mind. This trip proved to be very cheap as well. I would love to go back.

- Sightseeing is an extremely fulfilling and rapturing experience, but the places are a bit distant from each other. You might want to consider spending for the transportation.
- If you're on a bu (Read More)dget, carry all basic products like water, dry foodstuff, toilet paper etc. with you. If you're staying at a low budget hotel, such amenities may not be readily available.
- Campers/hikers, make sure you have all permissions ready beforehand.

It is hidden within Shimla and is a complete kit to undergo adventure, meet nature and experience history. The mountains here call for adventurous people to encounter river rafting, paragliding and t (Read More)rekking. The heritage and structure calls for history lovers to relive the British era and experience a moment into the flashback. The markets and the living culture will let one feel the simplicity and long living traditions. It is a saying 'Little things are beautiful and beautiful things are rare', Mashobra is that little town holding its beauty to drive you away from your busy life and provide you real inner peace.
