Trou aux Biches Beach
Boasting one of the best beaches in all of Mauritius, Trou aux Biches stretches for over 2 kilometres. Known as the longest beach, with crystal clear turquoise waters, Trou aux Biches has several water sports from water skiing, snorkelling, scuba diving to parasailing, glass-bottom boat rides. Compared to other beaches in Mauritius, the Trou aux Biches beach is relatively much less crowded and mostly frequented by the locals. Most beaches in Mauritius are bound by coral reefs and corals washing up ashore, however, Trou aux Biches beach is completely clear of coral making it ideal for swimming.
Lining the beachfront are food and beverage stalls and plenty of hotels, resorts, restaurants and pubs right beside the coastline, the Trou aux Biches beach is one of the best places to spend an idle afternoon.
