One of the historic churches in Miami, Gesu Church is a Roman Catholic Church located on the Northeast 2nd street of the city. The church was originally constructed in 1896 on nine acre land with wooden frame architecture. The structure of the Gesu Church was replaced by a Mediterranean Revival style architecture in 1924 where a giant portico and landmark tower makes it even more beautiful. Listed as one of the historical sites in the US National Register of Historic Places, Gesu Church is the epitome of medieval religious architecture and intricate detailing. Ample of religious events like Bible study, confessions, Choir performances and gatherings are organised by the church.
