Constructed in Gothic Revival style, the Nontre-Dame Basilica is something you can't miss to see while on your trip to Montreal.
The Notre-Dame Basilica was built in 1820s by architect James O'Donnell. It is said that he was so overwhelmed by the outcome that he adopted Catholicism. The interiors of the Basilica are strikingly beautiful, ornamented with intricate statues, pulpit and chapels. Here you'll also find the impressive organ with four keyboards, 7000 pipes, and stained glass design which narrate the story of religion in the history of Montreal.
