Situated in the Aglar Valley of Tehri Garhwal, Devalsari is about 55km from Mussoorie, Uttarakhand and is known for being a relatively unexplored area which is also a nature lover’s paradise. Surrounded by lush green meadows and the imposing mountains, Devalsari attracts crowds looking for peace and for adventure.
It is renowned for its diverse flora and fauna, including over 70 species of colourful butterflies and more than 60 species of birds. One can come here not only for bird watching or for admiring the many butterflies, but also for trekking. Devalsari serves as the base camp for the trek to Nag Tibba, also known as the Serpent Peak. En route, one might come across barking deer and various other forms of wildlife while traversing through the dense oak and deodar forests. Furthermore, there is also a temple here that is dedicated to Koneshwar Mahadev.
