Built in the year 1921, Lalitha Mahal is the second largest palace in Mysore. It was built at the orders of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV of Mysore for stay of the then Viceroy of India. As it is converted into a heritage hotel,visitors are allowed to the ground floor only.since bar and private rooms are occupied half of the ground floor, there is nothing to see there.
