The monument screens a 20-minute film that will enlighten the visitor about slavery and African-American history. African Burial Ground Monument also has many audio tours and guides. The museum has a permanent exhibit, "Reclaiming Our History," on the significance of the burial site. Other exhibits explore the hard work-life of African slaves. The Monument also has a shop.
If you are visiting New York, seeing the African Burial Ground is a must. It is a very moving and enlightening experience.
